Pro tip

On the paw pads: I use this balm as a preventative measure when the ground is abrasive (dirt and snow) and as a treatment when the paw pads are damaged. I protect the paw with a bootie until the balm is well absorbed, then leave the paw exposed to the air. The texture and scent are very pleasant, which is not insignificant. The balm keeps well despite winter temperatures.

On wounds: once the wound is clean, I apply the balm and it works!
