New products and packaging
Because we want to stay in our universe, we continue to develop complementary foods in eco-responsible packaging and intelligent and practical packaging.
Our plant-based product ranges are the result of a search for balance between animals, humans and nature. Each of our programs for sporting animals or pets is the result of a pragmatic approach combined with scientific laboratory requirements.
Made from wood fiber from France, our pack is biodegradable and recyclable. The carbon footprint of the 120 mL packaging has thus fallen from 63.9 g of CO2 to – 2.4 g of CO2.
By stopping buying plastic shampoo bottles, which consume a lot of water to produce and recycle, you are doing your part in preserving the environment.
Rehydration: New packaging in boxes of 20 sachets
ELEMENTVET Rehydration is now available in individual sachets (box of 12 sachets).
Our solution is a complementary powdered food aimed at combating dehydration in sports or working dogs after exercise, preserving the dog's muscular potential thanks to vitamin E and selenium. Water-soluble electrolytes form ions, ie electrically charged particles (sodium, potassium). Maltodextrin ensures a good refill of muscle glycogen when the drink is distributed within 30 minutes after an effort.
Other uses: post-surgery care (for improved recovery), following gastroenteritis, parvovirus, dehydrated animal, kidney failure, vomiting, diarrhea, very high temperatures that can cause heat stroke.
New: Omega 3 fatty acids - Krill oil box of 120 capsules
High content of essential amino acids - Great richness in omega 3 fatty acids - 50 mg EPA - 27.5 mg DHA
For several years, krill oil has been offered as a nutritional supplement to capitalize on its richness in omega 3 fatty acids.
This perfectly assimilable complementary food promotes the health of dogs and cats. Krill oil is made up of phospholipids. According to many experts, these phospholipids are very well absorbed in the body and especially in the brain.
In addition, the levels of EPA and DHA in the body after absorption of krill oil would be higher than with fish oil, suggesting a superior effectiveness of krill oil.
- Cardioprotective effects
- Anti-inflammatory activity
Studies have found benefits in particular for:
- Articular disorder: the consumption of Krill oil improves joint comfort by fighting against pain of inflammatory origin, in particular those which occur in the event of osteoarthritis.
- Inflammatory pathologies: positive results in other inflammatory conditions (gastrointestinal, cancerous process, kidney diseases).
- Antioxidant power
Krill oil contains astaxanthin, a carotenoid pigment that is often touted as one of nature's most powerful antioxidants. It contributes to the body's defense by opposing cell damage caused by free radicals.
- Neuroprotective potential
The omega 3s provided by Krill oil have positive effects on the central nervous system:
- contribute to fight against the decline of cognitive functions.
- improve neurodevelopment in puppies (cognitive learning, for example),
- develop olfactory abilities
- protect the ocular sphere.
- Active or athletic animal
The contribution of omega 3 in the ration of your animal allows an energy contribution in periods of intense physical expenditure (gestation, lactation, canine sports…). The highly palatable fish oil balances the omega 6/omega 3 ratio in the daily ration. The diet is often rich in Omega 6, hence the interest of introducing Omega 3 in supplementation.
- Dermatological protection
Omega 3 fatty acids are necessary for the maintenance of healthy skin and soft, silky coat (renewal of the skin, reduction of itchy skin, atopy).
