Why the EasyGroomer changes grooming
Dead hair goes, live hair stays
Its steel blade carries a multitude of tiny teeth. Drawn in the direction of the coat, it catches dead hair and loose undercoat without pulling on live hair or scratching the skin. Animals that cannot stand the wide teeth of classic brushes usually accept it very well.
Less hair around the house
By removing dead hair before it falls, the brush limits hair on the sofa, clothes and rugs, especially during the spring and autumn moult. A few minutes of regular brushing is enough, and the dead hair comes off the blade with a single gesture, without getting stuck between the teeth.
After the walk, dried mud comes off
After a muddy outing or a training session, let the coat dry, then brush: it removes dried earth, dust and twigs left in the coat. Compact, 13 cm, with a wooden handle that sits well in the hand, it also reaches delicate areas, such as the legs and the back of the thighs.
Which coats, which breeds?
For short, medium and long coats that shed, and for the dense undercoats of Nordic breeds: husky, malamute, samoyed, sled dog. It removes dead undercoat without damaging the topcoat. On a tangled coat, detangle first with a comb: it does not undo knots.
The micro-toothed brush that gently removes dead hair
The EasyGroomer is the EquiGroomer brush, renamed for France, where ELEMENT VET is its official and exclusive reseller. Its micro-toothed steel blade removes dead hair and undercoat from your dog or cat, without pulling on live hair. Ideal during shedding season, it is useful all year round.
Who is it for, and when
- dogs or cats that lose a lot of hair during shedding season;
- Nordic breeds and dense undercoats;
- sporting dogs, back from a muddy outing;
- sensitive animals that dislike wide-toothed brushes.
What it is
- Micro-toothed steel blade, rust-resistant coating
- Painted wooden handle, 13 cm
- 7 colours: pink, orange, red, natural, turquoise, blue, purple
- The EquiGroomer brush, sold as EasyGroomer in France; also available in a longer horse version (EquiGroomer)
And on top of that, they are eco-friendly and colourful!
How to use
Brush a dry coat, in the direction of the hair, with short, gentle strokes, without pressing: the micro-teeth do the work. Focus on the back, flanks and back of the thighs, where undercoat builds up. During shedding, a short session every day; the rest of the year, once or twice a week. Get your animal used to it from a young age, with strokes and treats.
Care
Remove the hair from the blade after each brushing, with a flick or a cloth. If the brush is wet or muddy, rinse the blade and dry it straight away. Do not leave it to soak, to protect the wooden handle, and store it somewhere dry.
Precautions for use
- Do not brush irritated skin, a scab or a wound.
- The brush does not undo knots: detangle first with a comb.

Pro tip
I think this brush is fantastic! During shedding season, it is a real headache to find a good brush that doesn't pull the hair or hurt the animal. No more wrestling to brush them: the undercoat comes out very quickly, without having to press. When the dog comes back from training or a muddy outing, dried mud and dirt come off very easily. When you have several dogs, quick and effective brushing changes everything, and what a joy to see the dog enjoy it so much!
