Dog dental hygiene: how does this powder work?

Helps limit plaque and tartar

Given every day, the powder supports dental hygiene between brushings and helps avoid the build-up of deposits, for cleaner teeth. Simply sprinkle it on the meal, or brush it as a toothpaste with a few drops of water.

For fresher breath

Bad breath mostly comes from bacteria in the mouth. Propolis, collected by bees to protect their hive, has long been used for oral hygiene: it helps bring back fresher breath and more pleasant moments together.

Well cared-for gums

A clean mouth also means well cared-for gums. Combined with seaweed, propolis helps maintain a healthy oral environment, in the meal as well as when brushing, with a liver-flavoured powder your dog readily accepts.

Between two scale and polish sessions at the vet

After a scale and polish, tartar comes back quickly. Starting the powder as soon as you get home helps keep the result longer, until the next check-up at your vet, as a course of 15 days to 1 month, repeated several times a year.

Supports oral hygiene and helps keep breath fresh

Like us, dogs build up a thin film on their teeth every day: dental plaque. In contact with the minerals in saliva, it hardens into tartar, the yellow or brown deposits that settle along the gum line and often cause strong breath. Brushing and check-ups at the vet remain the basis of dental hygiene; our powder supports them every day, straight in the meal or as a toothpaste.

For dogs whose teeth and breath you want to look after, especially after a scale and polish at the vet. The formula also contains fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), which feed the intestinal flora.

Dosage per animal

1 measuring scoop of powder a day, sprinkled on the meal.

As a toothpaste: add a few drops of water to a scoop of powder to make a paste, then apply it with a toothbrush.

Duration: at least 15 days, to be repeated several times a year. Ask your vet for advice.

A natural formula

Our ingredients

Lithothamnion

A calcareous seaweed that naturally provides calcium and magnesium. It is the first ingredient of the powder, which is mixed into the meal.

Fucus

A brown seaweed (Fucus vesiculosus) rich in minerals and trace elements, combined with propolis in our formula for oral hygiene.

Propolis

A resin collected by bees to protect the hive, long used for oral hygiene. It contributes to fresher breath.

Fructo-oligosaccharides

Plant-based fibres, fructo-oligosaccharides are natural prebiotics that feed the good bacteria of the gut flora.

No. It supports brushing and check-ups at your vet; only your vet can remove tartar that is already there.

My dog has sore teeth or gums: what should I do?

See your vet. This powder is a complementary feed; it does not replace treatment.

Can several courses be given at the same time?

Yes. When you give two courses, you can give both with the morning meal, or one in the morning and the other in the evening if your dog has two meals a day.

The only exception: Digestion and Vermiflore, which replace each other.
