Why combine these three courses for puppies and sporting dogs?

Its joints: OVO

Glucosamine and chondroitin are natural components of cartilage. OVO also provides two sources of collagen, eggshell membrane and marine collagen: collagen is the main protein of tendons and ligaments. Enough to support the growing puppy as well as the dog that runs around, season after season, with a liver-flavoured tablet that breaks into four.

Its omega-3s: Krill Oil

Supports joints and mobility in active dogs
Rich in marine omega-3s EPA and DHA, better absorbed thanks to krill

At least 88 mg of EPA and DHA per capsule, in a well-absorbed form. With OVO, it is our growth course par excellence, from puppies to sporting dogs. A small capsule that most dogs crunch like a treat.

Its intestinal hygiene: Vermiflore

A probiotic, Lactobacillus acidophilus LB, which promotes a balanced gut flora, with diatomaceous earth, pumpkin seeds and Ceylon cinnamon, already dosed in each liver-flavoured tablet, garlic-free. Vermiflore is not a dewormer: it is given as a course, four times a year, alongside the follow-up agreed with your vet.

Growing puppies and running dogs put a lot of strain on their joints, tendons and ligaments. OVO provides the components of cartilage and collagen, Krill Oil the marine omega-3s that support mobility: the two complement each other. And the young dog that explores everything, nose to the ground, also deserves care for its intestinal hygiene: that is the role of Vermiflore.

What the course contains

OVO Articulation, 60 tablets: glucosamine, chondroitin, marine collagen, eggshell membrane, MSM and lithothamnion, a seaweed that naturally provides a little calcium and magnesium, for joints, tendons and ligaments.
Krill Oil Omega-3, 120 capsules: at least 88 mg of EPA + DHA per capsule, for its joints.
Vermiflore, 60 tablets: a probiotic, diatomaceous earth, pumpkin seeds and Ceylon cinnamon, for its intestinal hygiene.

Dosage per animal

OVO and Krill Oil are given every day, for at least a month: throughout growth in puppies, during the sporting season or continuously in adult dogs.

Vermiflore is given as a course: 7 days in a row, a 21-day break, then 7 more days; repeat four times a year.

All three are given at mealtime. Puppies grow fast: weigh yours every month and adjust the dose.

Under 2.5 kg : ¼ tablet of OVO, 1 krill capsule every 2 days, ¼ tablet of Vermiflore during the course

From 2.5 to 5 kg : ½ tablet of OVO, 1 krill capsule every 2 days, ½ tablet of Vermiflore during the course

From 5 to 10 kg : 1 tablet of OVO, 1 krill capsule, 1 tablet of Vermiflore during the course

Over 10 kg : ½ tablet of OVO and ½ tablet of Vermiflore per started 5 kg, 1 krill capsule per 10 kg

A natural formula

Our ingredients

Glucosamine

A precursor of the components of cartilage, which the body also makes from glucose. It is the most concentrated joint ingredient in OVO, combined with chondroitin. 150 mg per OVO tablet.

Chondroitin

Chondroitin sulphate is a glycosaminoglycan, a natural component of the cartilage matrix and of connective tissue. It complements glucosamine in the formula. 50 mg per OVO tablet.

Marine collagen

Collagen is the main protein of skin, tendons, ligaments and cartilage. It is provided here as hydrolysed marine collagen, from MSC-certified fish. 25 mg per OVO tablet.

Eggshell membrane

The thin, strong and elastic film between the shell and the egg white. It contains collagen (types I and V), elastin, hyaluronic acid, glucosamine and chondroitin. 10 mg per OVO tablet.

Krill oil

Oil from a small crustacean of the Antarctic Ocean (Euphausia superba), a natural source of omega-3 EPA and DHA, bound to phospholipids. 500 mg per krill capsule, including at least 88 mg of EPA and DHA.

Diatomaceous earth

A natural mineral powder, rich in silica, made from fossilised micro-algae. It is a natural mineral ingredient, already dosed in each tablet: nothing to measure. 200 mg per Vermiflore tablet.

Pumpkin seeds

Naturally rich in fibre, pumpkin seeds are part of the formula alongside diatomaceous earth, Ceylon cinnamon and our probiotic. 100 mg per Vermiflore tablet.

Ceylon cinnamon

The “true cinnamon”, milder and much lower in coumarin than Cassia cinnamon. A spice traditionally used for digestive comfort. 100 mg per Vermiflore tablet.

Should I give my puppy calcium?

If your puppy is fed a complete puppy food, its calcium needs are already covered. Do not add calcium without your vet’s advice, especially for large breeds. OVO contains lithothamnion, a seaweed that naturally provides a little calcium and magnesium: at least 17 mg of calcium per tablet. This intake is not meant to cover its needs and does not replace a complete feed.

Is Vermiflore a dewormer?

No. Vermiflore is a complementary feed that supports your dog’s intestinal hygiene. It does not replace deworming: keep deworming your dog as your vet recommends.

Can OVO and Krill Oil be given all year round?

Yes: throughout the puppy’s growth, and continuously or during the sporting season in adult dogs.

Are there any precautions?

Do not give Krill Oil to a dog allergic to shellfish, and ask your vet if your dog is on anticoagulant treatment or is due for surgery. Do not give Vermiflore at the same time as our Digestion course. In case of lameness, see your vet.

Can several courses be given at the same time?

Yes, that is the principle of the Cure croissance. You can give all three with the morning meal, or spread them between morning and evening if your dog has two meals a day. The only exception: do not give Vermiflore at the same time as our Digestion course.
