Chondroitin (chondroitin sulphate) is a glycosaminoglycan found in connective tissue. It is a component of the cartilage matrix. It contributes to the flexibility and elasticity of bone.

Glucosamine is made by the body from glucose and an amino acid. It plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the cartilage in every joint. Together with chondroitin, they help to slow the natural wear of cartilage linked to age or joint wear, maintain elasticity and resistance in the joint, and improve quality of movement over the long term.

Rich in silica, horsetail helps to:

• support joint tissue
• support joint suppleness
• support dogs who find it hard to get up, walk for long or climb stairs

Krill (Euphausia superba) is a planktonic crustacean living in the Antarctic Ocean; it is a shrimp a few centimetres long.
Krill oil contains the essential omega-3 fatty acids known as EPA and DHA.

Lithothamnion (calcareous marine algae) is a highly absorbable natural source of calcium, magnesium and trace elements. Its value during growth is twofold: bone mineralisation and metabolic balance.
