Canicross, mushing, agility: different needs

Canicross and mushing call for endurance, often in cold or wet weather, on terrain that wears down the paw pads. Agility mainly puts strain on joints, tendons and ligaments, with jumps, tight turns and fast starts. In every case, your dog needs to stay well hydrated, recover and protect its paws.

Before and after exercise: hydration

A dog hardly sweats: it loses water by panting, and both exercise and heat quickly lower it. Réhydratation provides electrolytes and energy to dilute in water, after exercise and in hot weather.

Joints, tendons and ligaments

OVO Articulation supports the joints, tendons and ligaments of sporting dogs as well as growing puppies. Krill oil provides omega-3 for joints, skin and coat, and Vitality is a course of vitamins and plants for the energy of sporting or recovering dogs.

Recovery and paw pads

After the session, a massage with arnica gel helps your dog relax. Its paw pads work hard on snow, stones and tarmac: the repair balm nourishes and protects them, and the Confort booties protect them during the outing. The sporting dog course combines the rehydration powder, the balm and the gel.

A range born on the trails

ELEMENT VET was founded by Valérie Maumon, multiple French mushing champion, 3rd in the 2019 World Cup and French canicross runner-up. She uses these products with her own dogs, in training as in races.
